The End FGM E-Campus project contributes to preventing and responding to female genital mutilation (FGM) through a free European e-learning platform for professionals across sectors. The goal of the platform is to build the capacity of professionals and support survivors by providing high quality, comprehensive, holistic, and interdisciplinary theoretical and practical knowledge on FGM.
The project is coordinated by the Mediterranean Institute of Gender Studies – MIGS (Cyprus) and implemented in partnership with Associazione italiana donne per lo sviluppo - AIDOS (Italy), Associaçao para o Planeamento da Famìlia - APF (Portugal), the Cyprus University of Technology (Cyprus), the End FGM European Network (Brussels), and GAMS (Belgium).
It builds upon the results, expertise, and synergies developed through the “United to End FGM: European Knowledge Portal for Professionals dealing with Female Genital Mutilation” (2015-2017) project, funded by the European Union and its pilot version funded by the END FGM European Campaign and the Human Dignity Foundation (2012-2013).
